Sarasota, Fla. (November 2012) – It is an exciting time to be a young professional in Sarasota according to the Sarasota Young Professionals Group (YPG); the area is exploding with new career opportunities, successful entrepreneurs, thriving arts and culture scene, and a social calendar for every personality. When all of these things come together, Sarasota becomes one of the best places in the world for young professionals to live.
As the YPG enters into its 10th year of service and a new era of Board Members, the group remains beholden to the YPG Mission Statement, “To create a platform for our members to build relationships, develop professionally, become civically and philanthropically active, and contribute to the economic development and high quality living of our community.”
“YPG’s recent success has been dependent on this Mission, and we will continue to use it as a driving force to promote Sarasota as a great place to live and work for young professionals. Sarasota YPG will continue to be the voice of the under-40 workforce, and we will showcase our Members as today’s leaders that are positively impacting the County in an economic, social, and philanthropic manner,” states YPG Chair Sam Davidson.
