Sarasota/Bradenton, FL. —Goodwill Industries Manasota, Inc. is excited to celebrate 30 years of service to the community on November 16, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at Dolphin Aviation.
This is a time to pause and look back at our history and the visionary efforts of the organization which is dedicated to improving the quality of life in this community. As we reflect on our past, we are excited about working to explore new opportunities, expand services, and think creatively about how to better serve our mission: Good Jobs, Good Homes and Good Neighborhoods.
We will also be honoring Rev. Don Robert, CEO, and Peggy Roberts, President of Housing, for their years of service to Goodwill Manasota. The Roberts are retiring with more than 30 years with the organization and we are grateful for their vision that has allowed Goodwill to thrive far beyond its tenure.
Lastly, we will welcome the new Chief Executive Officer for Goodwill Manasota, Bob Rosinsky. As we bring close to an incredible era, we are about to embark on an exciting time. Rosinsky will focus the organization on three initiatives;
1. Expanding services to accommodate returning Veterans and their families
2. Maintaining and enhancing the recycling and green efforts in Goodwill locations and a
3. Collaborative partnership with local employers to connect 1001 people in need of a job with employment opportunities.
“The better we do in our mission integrated business, the more powerful our impact,” said Rosinsky. “Goodwill is dedicated to helping those with barriers to employment to succeed and become self-sufficient.”
