Proceeds benefit preservation and community education projects at the Historical Society
(Sarasota): Area interior designers are showing their support for historic preservation by donating premier custom decor items to the Historical Society of Sarasota County for a gigantic and comprehensive Designer Tag Sale that takes place on Saturday, November 17, starting at 8 a.m. The place is the Crocker Memorial Church (built in 1901) at 1260 12th Street Sarasota. It’s a block off Tamiami Trail; turn onto 12th Street. Buyers can expect to find designer fabric, wallpaper, trim, furniture, lamps, framed art, linens, garden and patio furnishings, tabletop sculpture and much more. These are custom home decor items from designers’ showrooms, from showhouses, and from design galleries. Additionally, there’s a book sale and a bargain bazaar that includes jewelry and handbags at the Crocker Church. Shop for holiday giving or to furnish a home or embellish a dull space.
