Englewood, Fla., Nov. 2, 2012— Amy Penttila has been recognized in the Gulf Coast Business Review’s 2012 40 Under 40 selections, currently serving as corporate controller to the leading provider of RFID security sleeves and badge holders to the U.S. government, as well as a full line of consumer products from card and badge holders, to purses and wallets, Identity Stronghold announced today.
Each year, the Business Review selects 40 individuals under 40 years old from the business community. Carefully selected from nominations and original reporting, these individuals represent the best and brightest from Tampa to Naples.
“We are very proud of Amy’s accomplishments and recognition, as her dedication to organizational leadership has helped us surpass our goals over the past three years,” said Walt Augustinowicz, founder and CEO of Identity Stronghold. “We look forward to watching Amy’s continued growth from here, along with our expanding corporate team and brand,” he added.
In selecting this year’s crop, the paper’s editors looked for candidates who are entrepreneurial, even if they don’t own their own businesses.
“There are a lot of publications that do similar lists each year,” says Kat Hughes, Business Review managing editor. “We wanted our list to stand apart as a group of young professionals who aren’t afraid to take charge and take risks in their business. They are willing to try new things and put their ideas into action. This to us is what it means to be a business leader, and we feel these 40 individuals embody that spirit.”
