SMART (Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy) is pleased to announce that they have received a $10, 000 grant from the Cassidy Family Foundation Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation. The grant is for naming rights for an individual stall in the main barn and provides general support for the program.
“We are so pleased to have received this Stall Naming grant from the Cassidy Family Foundation. Their support of SMART over the past year has made a real and lasting difference in our program and in the lives of those we serve and we are extremely grateful. This year, the Cassidy Family has also provided funding for two horse adoptions and three rider scholarships. We feel incredibly blessed to have their support!” said Gail Clifton, volunteer executive director.
