(Oct. 24, 2012) – Just over two years ago Prudential Tropical Realty introduced a Builder Relations program as part of its ongoing efforts to foster productive relationships with local builders and developers. The comprehensive program included extensive New Homes Specialist training designed to help sales executives become more familiar with the nuances associated with selling new home construction. Figures recently released by company officials show that the program has been a successful addition to the long list of services provided by Prudential Tropical Realty.
According to Director of Builder Relations Kimberly Mackey Prudential Tropical Realty sales professionals sold in excess of $61 million in new home construction during the period of Sept. 1, 2011 – August 31, 2012. The sales volume reflects 247 new homes sold in builder communities located throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco Polk, Manatee and Hernando Counties.
“We are very pleased with these results,” stated Mackey. “Our focus since implementing the Preferred Builder program has been to strengthen Prudential Tropical Realty’s presence within the Tampa Bay builder community and to increase our agents’ awareness of the various new home products available. Clearly, these numbers illustrate the success of the program and the benefits it represents to our agents in terms of additional revenue.”
Approximately 29 “Preferred Builder Partners” are currently a part of this program. Builders partnering with Prudential Tropical Realty benefit from additional exposure of their properties to a sales team comprised of nearly 500 real estate professionals as well as special incentives and promotional activities to increase traffic to their communities and ultimately create more new home sales.
Mackey has more than a decade of experience in the residential homebuilding and real estate industry during which time she has earned numerous certifications as an expert in the field of new home sales. She has been awarded the designations of Master Certified New Home Sales Professional (MCSP) and Certified Marketing Professional (CMP) by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and also completed the association’s “Train the Trainer” course.
