TAMPA, Fla. (October 25, 2012) – The Tampa Convention Center (TCC) has partnered with local non-profit Metropolitan Ministries on their annual Bags of Joy campaign. TCC will serve as a food donation drop-off location for the Metropolitan Ministries food and toy drive.
Through November 20, 2012, TCC will be collecting food for Metropolitan Ministries. Donors can drop off canned or boxed goods in collection barrels near the first floor entrances of the convention center. The facility will be open for food donations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. All other donations should be dropped off at Metropolitan Ministries.
“Metropolitan Ministries does a great job with this campaign every year, and we’re happy to be a partner in the effort,” said Eric Blanc, CMP, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Tampa Convention Center. “It’s a great way for Tampa Convention Center to help our community during the holiday season.”
