|BRADENTON, Fla. – The United Way of Manatee County is pleased to announce that this Monday, October 22nd from 8am to 12pm, the completion of the exterior work project will take place at its downtown facility (1701 Tamiami Trail, Bradenton, 34205). On Monday, Publix Supermarkets Store Managers will converge at the building to paint the entire exterior of the facility. The paint for this project was graciously donated by Sarasota Paint Company.
In September, more than 30 volunteers from Mosaic took part in the pressure washing, repairing of electrical systems and sprinkler features as well as implementing of a new landscape design. Over the last few weeks, Turner Tree and Landscape has manicured all of the trees on the property to allow for better visibility and safety for the entire community. This multi-phase project will be complete on Monday with the painting of the exterior of the facility.
“We are honored and grateful to have the support of such committed community partners and employees at Mosaic, Publix Supermarkets, Sarasota Paint Company and Turner Tree & Landscape. Their generous contributions will enhance the appearance of the United Way of Manatee County and demonstrate by their actions the motto to: Give, Advocate, and Volunteer. These employees and their companies truly know what it means to LIVE UNITED.”
