(Sarasota, FL) Muse Galleria, a boutique dedicated to the sale and promotion of local art, presents its first Halloween Mask-Making Event on Saturday, October 20, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shoppers can take advantage of special savings throughout the gallery and also make their own Venetian-inspired masks. Mask-making and other children’s Halloween activities will also be offered. Refreshments will be served and Suncoast Photo Booth will be on hand to snap pictures of participants with their creations. The gallery is located at 3801 McIntosh Road in Sarasota.
“This should get everyone into the fall and Halloween spirit,” says gallery owner Marcia Anderson. “It’s also a great time to see what’s new at the gallery and sign up for one or more of our new fall workshops and classes.”
The gallery, voted in a recent poll as one of “Sarasota’s best places to find a gift,” features women’s and children’s clothing, handbags, toys, jewelry, stained glass, paintings, prints, quilts and more, at a variety of price points and all handmade by local artists.
“We now represent more than 50 artists, many of whom also offer custom work,” adds Anderson. “This is a great opportunity to buy or order that one-of-kind holiday gift, have some Halloween fun, and support local art!”
