TAMPA BAY, FL (October 16, 2012) – Matt Cutler has joined the Tampa Bay Partnership as Vice President of Investor Relations & Development, it was announced by Stuart Rogel, President & CEO.
In his new role, Cutler will lead investor relations for the Partnership as well as new investor and grant/sponsorship development.
“Matt’s strong corporate background as a chief operating officer along with his experience in government and media are uniquely suited to this new position at the Tampa Bay Partnership,” said Stuart Rogel, President & CEO of the Partnership. “He will be a strong addition to our team.”
Cutler has over 18 years business experience in building franchise operations along with government relations and media relations. Before joining the Partnership, he served as President of Mr. Empanada Franchise Corporation in Tampa. Previously, Cutler held a number of executive positions including Chief Operating Officer with Two Men and a Truck®/International, the largest franchised moving company in North America. During his tenure there, he played a key role in growing the company from 40 locations in 1998 to over 200 locations in 2011 while increasing system revenues by over 400%. Cutler led efforts to expand the system into 33 states and internationally into Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Cutler began his career in the Michigan State Senate as a District Coordinator and Media Liaison. He holds a bachelors degree in political science from Cedarville University and completed the Certified Franchise Executive Program with the International Franchise Association.
