Manatee offices will once again serve as book drop off sites for Fall Annual Book Sale
In partnership with the Literacy Council of Manatee County, First Bank offices in Manatee County continue to serve as donation sites for new and gently used books for the Literacy Council’s Fall Annual Book Sale.
The book drive, which kicked off this summer, will culminate with the annual book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3rd at First Bank’s Village Green branch located at 7051 Manatee Ave. W.
“We are so proud to host the third annual Literacy Council book sale,” said Anne Lee, First Bank Retail Banking President. “This event is a result of a lot of work from the Literacy Council, our First Bank employees and the wonderful generosity of our customers. I encourage everyone to donate books for this great cause that provides the gift of literacy to so many each year.”
From now until the book sale on November 3rd, new and gently used books can be dropped off at the following First Bank locations:

– 9819 Cortez Road W.;
– 4601 Manatee Avenue W.;
– 7051 Manatee Avenue W.;
– 415 53rd Avenue W.;
– 1301 6th Ave. W;
– and 3005 53rd Avenue E.)

- Palmetto (995 N. Haben Blvd.)
- Downtown Bradenton (1301 6th Avenue W)
Lobby hours for the First Bank locations listed above are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Longboat Key (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and DT Bradenton (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
