Sarasota, Fla. – After being open only 4 1?2 months, The Bayside Pet Resort and Spa, at 8154 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, reports record-breaking sales this month. Last week the resort recorded 245 pet lodging nights, compared to 275 in the entire month of August. There were 98 dogs in daycare, 24 dogs groomed and 63 boarding appointments scheduled. “We are have a tremendous month,” said Marilee Namaka, general manager for Bayside. “We’ve had to hire and train more staff and really gear up for season as we expect another business boom closing out the fourth quarter of this year aspeople get ready for their winter vacations,” said Namaka.
The Bayside Pet Resort & Spa has a number of fall events coming up. The resort will offer free pet portraits to the first 25 people who RSVP, on October 18, 2012. The resort is hosting popular 20-year-old Sarasota pet photographer Emilee Fuss from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a wine and cheese reception for pet parents. Fuss will be providing free 8 x 10 portraits for 25 pets. Her stunning pet photography is displayed throughout The Bayside Pet Resort & Spa.
