Former director of USF Institute for Public Policy and Leadership to advise on Ringling College of Art and Design partnership
SARASOTA, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2012) – The Patterson Foundation announced today that Judith A. Sedgeman, EdD, former director of the Institute for Public Policy and Leadership at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, is the new initiative advisor for the foundation. Prior to her work at USF, Sedgeman, an international leader in the field of innate health and education, spent nearly 12 years on faculty of the West Virginia University School of Medicine and remains an adjunct professor at the university.
As initiative advisor, Sedgeman will work with Ringling College of Art and Design to provide strategic guidance and feedback as the college explores ways to integrate multidisciplinary, real-world client projects within the art and design curriculum.
