New Port Richey, FL (September 28, 2012) — Florida Cancer Affiliates (FCA), a community-based medical oncology and hematology practice, announces that its recently cosponsored “Leaving No One Behind,” fashion show luncheon held on Saturday, September 15, at Seven Springs Golf & Country Club, raised almost $10,000 for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer as well as scholarships for Pasco County.
The New York style runway show featured the latest fashions from Macy’s at Gulf View Mall. The fashion show luncheon was entitled “Leaving No One Behind…Fall into Fashions” and was cosponsored by Florida Cancer Affiliates and Business & Professional Women/Calusa. All proceeds benefited Business & Professional Women/Calusa’s scholarship fund and the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.
Several local celebrity models participated including Paula O’Neil and Kim Bogart who served as models.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 8 am at “The Shops at Wiregrass.”
