Proceeds benefit Judeo Christian Health Clinic of West Tampa
Tampa, Fla. (October 8, 2012) – The third annual Sweetbay Flavor of West Tampa, a family-friendly cultural food and entertainment festival, will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at MacFarlane Park (1700 N MacDill Ave) in Tampa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organized by the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce and presented by Sweetbay Supermarket, the Flavor of West Tampa celebrates the strong cultural diversity that is found in the West Tampa area through unique cuisine, live entertainment and special activities and performances.
Guests enjoy free admission and parking, and can experience different foods for as little as $2 per sample. Restaurants participating include local favorites like Alessi Bakery, Amarilly’s Sandwiches, La Teresita, Holy Hog BBQ, and many others.
Proceeds benefit the Judeo Christian Health Clinic, a West Tampa non-profit organization that provides care for the medically indigent by providing medical, dental and optometric services. Founded in 1972, the JCHC has grown to become the largest and most comprehensive free clinic in the Southeastern United States.
