ExTRAVELganza (http://www.extravelganza.org/) is Tampa Bay’s premiere Vacation & Sports Auction plus the popular Tours of Taste culinary showcase, will be held at the Pavilion at the Tradewinds Island Grand Friday, Nov. 9.
The resort is located at 5500 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach, FL. (http://www.tradewindsresort.com/directions.aspx). This annual fundraising event benefits university and college students preparing for careers in the hospitality or culinary arts industries.
The 19th Annual ExTRAVELganza will be held from 7 – 10 p.m.on Nov. 9.
Tickets are $60 per person and corporate tables are available for $500 (reserved seating for 10 plus corporate signage). Prices include admission, wine and spirit tastings, foods prepared by chefs from leading local restaurants and resorts and complimentary valet parking.

Anyone who has a ”taste for travel” may attend to support the local hospitality industry by helping to raise money for scholarships awarded to students majoring in hospitality management or the culinary arts. Nearly $800,000 worth of scholarships have been awarded to date.
In addition to ticket sales and corporate sponsorships, scholarship funds are also raised through auctions. Donations for auction items include exciting travel packages to worldwide destinations, fine dining experiences at acclaimed restaurants, sports packages and sports memorabilia and more.
ExTRAVELganza is a project of the Tampa Bay Hospitality Alliance partnership that includes members of the Hillsborough County Hotel & Motel Association and the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association.
