TAMPA, Fla. – October 5, 2012 – Over 900 exhibits will inspire and inform visitors looking to improve or spruce up their homes October 19-21 in Expo Hall at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Design and renovation experts will help guests transform their homes into reflections of their own personality.
Florida’s Largest Home Show will be loaded with ideas, information and tips everyone can use to improve their homes inside and out.
Strandhouse offers a piece of the German lifestyle with custom beach chairs and outdoor furniture. From three-seat beach chairs, to a mini-beach chair for pets, they will bring the homeowner’s vision to life by combining high quality textiles, woods and wickerwork.
Table For Two – Cooking For Couples: Warren Caterson is a full-time writer and foodie who has studied at the Southeast Institute of Culinary Arts. He is the author of the award-winning book “Table for Two – The Cookbook for Couples” and “Cooking Outside the Lines – Musings of an Extemporaneous Chef ” as well as the upcoming “Table for Two – Back for Seconds” (Winfield & Scott Press). At the home show, Caterson will be cooking some of his favorite recipes, and have his cookbook available for purchase.
Using materials from some of the finest fabric houses in the world, TenHouses offers unique pillows and cushions for every room. The eclectic pillows are inspired by journeys taken to interesting global destinations. At Florida’s Largest Home Show, guests can purchase items from their various collections.
Guests can learn how to make their home more efficient with Daikin, the largest air conditioning manufacturer in the world. Wytek Construction and Marlin James A/C will have a house-size display featuring the latest in energy conserving products.
Guests can take a break from browsing and buying to enjoy the free (with admission) Wonders of Nature wildlife show three times daily (12pm, 2pm, 4pm). Attendees will see raptors flying inches above their head, a talking parrot, giant python and flying squirrel.
Show hours are Friday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, October 20 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, October 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55+, and children under 12 are admitted free with an adult.
