Jeff Wagner launches “Always Finish Strong” drive for blood and marrow donors
(St. Petersburg, Fla: Oct. 5, 2012) As a young man, Jeff Wagner was an avid runner, triathlete, tennis star and a beach volleyball player. More recently he has fought leukemia, enduring countless chemotherapy sessions and dozens of surgeries, plus over one hundred blood and platelet transfusions and finally a bone marrow transplant. Jeff now celebrates second chances everyday. On Wednesday, October 3, 2012 Jeff got to hug the man who donated his healthy bone marrow, Josef “Sepp” Feuerecker, who flew from Germany so they could meet for the first time.
