|Local Entrepreneur and Philanthropists, Nancy and Alan Bomstein, honored with Community Service Award
Tampa, FL – In its thirteenth year, the Center for Catholic – Jewish Studies at Saint Leo University has sought to build mutual respect, understanding and appreciation among Jews, Catholics and all people of good will by promoting interfaith dialogue and education. One of the signature programs of the Center is the Eternal Light Award Dinner, an event that recognizes an outstanding individual who has made significant contributions in Catholic-Jewish relations.
The Center is proud to announce that the Eternal Light Award for 2012 will be presented to
The CCJS Community Leadership Award will also be presented to Nancy and Alan Bomstein in recognition of their many years of devoted community leadership in the Tampa Bay region. Alan has been active on the boards of Congregation Beth Shalom, Morton Plant Hospital, the University of South Florida, Ruth Eckerd Hall, and WEDU, while Nancy has focused her energy on Hadassah, Florida Holocaust Museum and Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services. Together they have been honored nationally by Israel Bonds and recently received the Tree of Life Award from the Jewish National Fund.
