There are a number of programs designed to help companies improve the skills of their employees by reimbursing the cost of training. Typically presented as a “grant”, the programs are fairly straightforward, fill-in-the-blank style applications which reimburse 50% of the direct training costs. In some cases, they can reimburse more than half of your training cost.
IWT, EWT, QRT, OJT, H1B – While navigating the alphabet soup of training grant programs initially seems daunting, HCC’s Corporate College is experienced in helping clients through the maze to a successful grant submission. Identifying the proper grant to utilize is only the start. Perhaps even more important is defining the training plan and desired outcomes so that the dollars your company spends return the best possible outcomes for improving employees’ skills and the organizations competitiveness in the market.
