Sarasota, FL – The All Achievers Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (www.allachievers.ning.com) recognized Sally Reeder and Susan Neaves for their outstanding achievements in the community.
Sally Reeder is the All Achievers’ Community Projects Chair and coordinates our support of SPARCC and Family Promise. Family Promise is a non-profit organization that provides a unique transitional support system designed to assist homeless families with children in stabilizing their lives so that they can once again obtain and retain permanent housing. The mission of Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC) is to provide services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, and promote a violence free community through awareness and education. SPARCC’s free and confidential programs protect families, empower victims to create a brighter future, and work to prevent future violence. Sally was also awarded the Citizen of the Year. She is the owner of Classic World Travel, your go-to source for any travel need.
Susan Neaves, one of our newest members, is involved with the Senior Friendship Center, which is a community of 150 paid staff and 900 volunteers, ranging from medical and other health care specialties to staff who, among other things, deliver meals to those too frail and elderly to participate outside their home. Susan is becoming a certified teacher/facilitator of “Powerful Tools for Caregiving” which will advise caregivers on how to take care of themselves.
These ladies encourage others by their examples to get involved and help out our community.
