Dr. Howard M. Chasolen, D.M.D., will lead this intensive, two-day program designed for restorative dentists and surgeons who want to increase their knowledge about the latest advancements in implant prosthodontics treatment and protocol.
(Sarasota, FL) Dr. Howard M. Chasolen, D.M.D., founder of the Chasolen Education & Research Center and a Sarasota-based clinical dentist with a specialty in prosthodontics, announced that his next clinical workshop, “Implant Prosthetics,” is October 12-13, 2012, at the Lido Beach Resort and Hotel in Sarasota. The course is open to dentists and surgeons from around the country who want to expand their knowledge about the latest cutting-edge advancements in implant prosthodontics treatment and protocol. For tuition information and to register, call (941) 957-0063.
Chasolen has practiced dentistry in Sarasota since 1994 and also teaches in the University of Florida’s graduate residency prosthodontics program. He founded the Chasolen Education & Research Center in 2007. According to Chasolen, the center’s focus is educating dental professionals about cosmetic, bite reconstructive and implant prosthetic dentistry. “Our mission is to train dentists and their teams about the finer points of prosthodontics. That empowers them to provide their patients with state-of-the-art evaluation, diagnosis, planning, treatment and management right from the beginning.”
Chasolen’s decision to launch a clinical teaching center in this region goes back to a sudden insight he had several years ago. “I realized that most of the dental lecture circuit gurus were no longer primarily making their living at the chair,” he says. “These were no longer professionals on the front line; their knowledge was dated and relied more on academic theory than on the practical issues dentists face everyday. My experience encompasses both daily practice and theory. I can see dentistry from both sides of the chair, so to speak.”
The Chasolen Education and Research Center offers regular classes and seminars for dental professionals to attain the highest level of mastery in the evaluation, diagnosis, planning, delivery of treatment and after-care management in restorative dentistry. The center’s headquarters are at 2033 Wood Street, Suite 125, in Sarasota. For more information about the center or Dr. Chasolen, call (941) 957-0063; or visit www.howardchasolen.com.
