All three of the new homeowners are local residents from the Sarasota County area. “It’s really a strong indication that the local market is moving again,” said Mason. “We made an initial investment of starting an inventory spec home to drive traffic and that’s exactly what happened,” said Mason. That inventory home is expected to be complete by late 2012. All of the newly sold custom-built homes have closing dates set for early 2013.
