The AAF-Suncoast challenges and invites local groups, organizations and businesses to sign up for the 2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament they will host on Saturday, October 27, in the Girl’s Inc. gym in Sarasota.
Prizes will be awarded for First Place, Best Team Name, and Best Team Uniforms in the double-elimination competition. Awards Ceremony and After Party will take place immediately following the tournament. Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization and its scholarship fund.
Teams of six are forming now! The AAF-Suncoast website has information on the tournament, including schedule and registration procedures and fees. Register on the website by October 12 to receive the best pricing. “Free agents” will be formed into teams at the event.
Team and free agent registration includes tournament play and tickets to the after party for all team members. Student team registration includes tournament play only.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and can be paid for on the website.
Team supporters and spectators receive free admission to the tournament, and can purchase tickets to the After Party for a nominal fee.
Check in and warm up begins at 2 pm, with team scrimmage practice at 2:30 pm, and the tournament scheduled from 3:30 – 5:30 pm. Girls Inc. is located at 201 S. Tuttle Ave. in Sarasota.

American Advertising Federation – Suncoast is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the art and business of advertising through professional education, legislative efforts and community service. The AAF-Suncoast meets regularly, hosting speakers on various industry topics. The AAF-Suncoast also hosts the advertising community’s most prestigious event, the ADDY Awards, held each year.
Membership is open to anyone who is involved in the advertising, media, communications and creative services industry in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Membership typically consists of advertising media representatives, advertising agency personnel, TV and video producers, graphic artists, copy writers, illustrators, photographers, printers and advertising management executives.
