SBDC at USF
The Small Business Development Center is a non-profit organization established by the Small Business Administration to provide no-cost consulting services, low-cost seminars and additional specialized services to both start-up and established businesses. The SBDC is the only designated state provider of business assistance.
Ninety-nine percent of all businesses in the United States are small businesses. They are what drives the economic engine in the U.S. In order to keep the economy strong, small businesses must continue to grow.
All consulting services and seminars are conducted by certified business analysts (CBA) who have specialized experience and education. Services range from assistance in writing business plans to procuring government contracts.

With the SBDC, business consulting is free and you will have confidential access to expert business advice from a CBA. SBDC services and recommendations are provided from an independent standpoint, our only interest is your success, whether you are an entrepreneur or an existing business.
The SBDC at USF serves the following counties: Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, Sarasota, Desoto and Highlands. Centrally located offices are generally used to conduct counseling sessions, but on-site consulting is also possible.
