WHY On the heels of the largest ransomware attack of 2017, Tampa Downtown Partnership and the University of Tampa present the latest Debriefing Series on a very timely and critical topic, Cybersecurity. Wannacry ransomware has swept across the globe having cyber experts working around the clock to protect their systems from this unprecedented malware. Kenneth Knapp, Director of Cybersecurity Programs at the University of Tampa will discuss cyber threats like Wannacry and others that could impact computer systems. Dr. Knapp’s research focuses on information and cyber security effectiveness in organizations. His specialties include information and cyber security, IT governance and strategy, data and network communications, systems analysis and development and design. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Join us for an expert perspective on the trends of the global Cybersecurity threat facing organizations today and a conversation on identity theft, hacking and online safety.
