Swim Digital Group Launches Sisterhood of Swim
TAMPA, Fla. – Swim Digital Group (Swim) is proud to announce Sisterhood of Swim, the digital marketing agency’s strategic plan and commitment to foster and nurture women-owned businesses. As part of its pledge to advance women’s businesses initiatives and organizations in the Tampa Bay area, Swim is taking a multipronged approach that includes partnerships with women’s organization, relationships with women-led businesses, exclusive pricing and community involvement.
“I am passionate about helping women in business,” said Trimeka Benjamin, president and founder of Swim. “I know first-hand the struggles that women and small business owners face. Sisterhood of Swim gives me the opportunity to help them overcome those challenges and excel. Women are natural collaborators and it’s important for us to share what we know and empower each other. When women work together, we’re more successful, and in turn our communities are more successful. At Swim, we want to be a part of those alliances.”
Sisterhood of Swim will launch a partnership with Working Women of Tampa Bay, a network of more than 200 professional women, to offer a series of digital marketing workshops beginning in late May. Additionally, Swim will serve as the agency of record for The Women’s Exchange, an organization committed to connecting qualified women with opportunities to sit on government, nonprofit and corporate boards of directors.
In addition to sponsorships and partnerships, Swim will offer an exclusive pricing structure specifically for women-owned and women-led businesses to give them the opportunity to expand their marketing capabilities – both in the traditional and digital space – and give them the tools and resources to sustain their efforts moving forward.
Since 2009, Swim has worked with multiple women-led businesses and nonprofit organizations to help them navigate the waters of digital media by building websites and email marketing campaigns, creating social media content, executing search engine optimization and digital advertising campaigns – in addition to the agency’s other creative, branding and strategy services.
“The Swim team has an unwavering passion for helping women succeed,” said Renee Dabbs, owner of Renee Dabbs, LLC, a national business consulting firm. “I’ve witnessed their commitment and enthusiasm first-hand working alongside them on with The Women’s Exchange and the WeWill Conference, and am continuously impressed with their dedication to women’s initiatives.”
Sisterhood of Swim builds on the work the agency has done with numerous women-led organizations over the years, including Tampa Bay Healthcare Collaborative, Transformations Mane Focus, WeGo Kids, Catalyst Consulting Services and The Florida Holocaust Museum. Additionally, Benjamin and her team is active in the community through The Women’s Exchange, The Spring of Tampa Bay, and the Junior League of Tampa to further their impact on the women of the Tampa Bay area.
“I believe that every organization – big or small – should strive for innovation, bold ideas and out-of-the-box strategies,” said Benjamin. “The Swim team’s diverse background and skill sets allow us to provide those creative solutions to our clients.”
As part of Swim’s 2017 Working Women of Tampa Bay sponsorship, Swim will host two digital marketing boot camps to teach other women – both members and non-members of Working Women of Tampa Bay – how to leverage digital marketing to build their success.
The first boot camps slated for May 30 in Tampa and June 29 in St. Petersburg, will focus on creating and using a marketing toolkit and marketing collateral to promote your brand. The second workshops scheduled for August 29 and November 2, will address developing leads and retaining customers through a digital sales funnel, while utilizing SEO and content marketing.
