Tampa, FL April 29th, 2017- Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB) joins affiliates nationwide engaging volunteers to make a positive impact in the lives of low income homeowners. This year, RTTB continues its work in the historic neighborhood of West Tampa making homes safer and healthier for its residents
Volunteers from Bank of America, Booz Allen Hamilton, Pulte Group and Crossing Church will complete much need repairs to four (4) homes for residents that cannot afford the repairs on their own.

This year’s projects are targeting families with children to ensure that they grow and live in a safer and healthier environment. This Saturday’s projects are part of six more completed during April 19th and 20th by over 100 volunteers from Lowe’s who dedicated hours of work to address the needs of five homeowners and one Community Center.

In October of 2016, Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay launched “Building A Healthier West Tampa” with the initial support of the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. The first two years of this project will focus in homes with children 8 and under and senior citizens. RTTB is also working closely with local leaders and stakeholders to contribute towards Affordable Housing opportunities for First Time Buyers in the future.
