• Tampa Bay Innovation Center Hosts April Diary of an Entrepreneur Program

    Serial Entrepreneur Joy Randels will advise entrepreneurs on how to go from where they are to where they want to be

     

    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – (March 15, 2017) – Tampa Bay Innovation Center, an innovation and entrepreneurship center for technology businesses, will hold its quarterly “Diary of an Entrepreneur”/monthly TECH Talk program on Tuesday, April 11, at 8:30 a.m. at Microsoft Headquarter offices, 5426 Bay Center Dr., Suite 700, Tampa.

                The April Diary of an Entrepreneur program, “Instructions Not Included,” will be presented by Joy Randels, CEO of Citizinvestor and board chairman of Technova Florida. Randels has built her presentation around the following concept: “Start by doing what is necessary, then do what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”  She will discuss the concepts of Coordination, Cooperation, Teamwork, Convergence and, above all, Communication to achieve groundbreaking success, with Passion, Persistence and the right People. 

    Randels launched the first of 15 ventures at age 18, and after nine successful acquisitions and two IPOs she exercises her passion for building high-value, scalable businesses as the founder and CEO of New Market Partners. Since founding New Market Partners in 2004 she has worked with more than 800 startups helping them build scalable businesses. Currently CEO of Citizinvestor, the industry-leading civic engagement and crowdfunding platform, she continues to empower citizens to create positive change in their communities.

    Presented by Tampa Bay Innovation Center, TECH Talk is the area’s premier networking and education event developed specifically to meet the interests of the local technology community.  Attendees include new and start-up technology companies, as well as entrepreneurs and those interested in the growth and success of technology innovation and entrepreneurism in the Tampa Bay area.
