Beneath the covers of the ordinary Internet lies a secondary, anonymous networks referred to as the “Dark Web”. Here the criminal underground exchange in stolen goods, drugs are purchased, spies report back their secrets, and a series of forums exist where individuals converse on fringe, illegal or risqué topics. It is the digital equivalent of a dark alley in a bad part of town. If you’ve had something digital stolen such as a credit card, account, or even your whole identity this is likely where your information was sold. Come learn how these networks work, who is using them, and how the dark economy functions. In the process you will learn how to better protect yourself and your company in the current cyber environment.

Doug Logan is the CEO and Principal Consultant for the cyber security consulting company, Cyber Ninjas (https://www.cyberninjas.com).
