The annual MLK Candlelight Vigil that takes place this Saturday at 6 PM at the Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum. It’s at 2240 9th Ave. South.
It’s free! It’s a wonderful event.
The One City Chorus will be performing some wonderful songs from the Civil Rights Era at the event. The new non-auditioning community chorus was begun this October. This will be its first public performance. It’s motto is “creating community together in song.” www.OneCityChorus.org
