Our Aging Bodies
Prescription Drugs and Potential Abuse
Medicine Adherence
Oral Hygiene As We Age
The discussions will be given by LECOM faculty members and will last about an hour, with ample time for question-and-answer sessions, at 3:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday, January through April, in the LECOM School of Dental Medicine Large Auditorium, 4800 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton. The first lecture will be Jan. 26, 2017, and a tour of the dental facility reduced-price dental clinic is available.
You’ll learn, you’ll be entertained and you will come away knowing better how the interaction between body, mind, and spirit dictates your health. The lectures are not only about gathering facts but also about delving into ideas and thinking about medical solutions with a new approach.
You can join in this fun, intellectual challenge and interact with others like yourself by emailing Dr. Kersten Schroeder (kschroeder@lecom.edu) or Joel Welin (jwelin@lecom.edu).
