Schifino Lee Wins Thirteen 2015 American Advertising Federation Tampa Bay Awards Including Two ‘Best of the Bay’ Awards
Tampa, FL (March 4, 2015) – Schifino Lee Advertising + Branding, a leading full-service advertising agency in the Tampa Bay Area, was recognized with 13 awards including two “Best of the Bay” awards at the AAF–Tampa Bay Awards Gala on Thursday, February 26.
The firm’s first “Best of the Bay” award of the evening was received in the Newspaper, Color category for its “Ourganic is Better Organic” campaign for client Sweetwater Organic Farm in Tampa. The campaign features handwritten lines of copy which come together to form the shapes of a carrot, eggplant, and tomato on three separate iterations of the ad. The campaign touts that all organic is not created equal and the benefits of buying local organic vegetables.
Schifino Lee’s second “Best of the Bay” distinction honored the agency’s “Be the Santa Toy Drive” campaign in the Advertising Industry Self-Promo category. The campaign featured a tear-away poster printed with a cutout Santa beard advertising the toy drive hosted by the agency this past holiday season. The posters were placed in the community and allowed the public to create their own beard and “become their own Santa” when delivering holiday gifts.
In addition to the two “Best of the Bay” awards, the agency took home 7 Gold and 4 Silver AAF-Tampa Bay awards:

•Gold Award in Elements of Advertising category for P&S Transportation Photography
•Silver Award in Radio, Campaign category for Lizard Juice
•Silver Award in Television category for Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo’s “London Frightmare” TV commercial

The winners of the “Best of the Bay” awards will compete at the district competition in Orlando, Florida on May 2 for a chance to move on to the national American Advertising Federation Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 13.
